Kristen Frantz is the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Berrett-Koehler Publishers. She has worked at Berrett-Koehler since 1992 in various roles in sales and marketing and currently oversees the areas of print book sales to US trade bookstores and online retailers, corporations, associations, and authors, plus promotion through publicity, direct marketing, promotional materials, and events. Kristen has worked in nonfiction publishing since 1989, previously working for McGraw-Hill in their textbook division and Bull Publishing, a health, fitness, and nutrition book publisher. Book Marketing Bootcamp
Kristen Frantz and Katie Sheehan will outline the fundamentals of book marketing that new or aspiring authors need to think about to be a successful author. They will also offer a template/marketing plan with key steps along the way and discuss the critical steps required for a successful launch. This session will include defining your brand, clarifying your audience and goals, creating your online presence, creating content, and mobilizing your networks.
