Heather Younger – 2021

Heather Younger is a best-selling author, international speaker, consultant, adjunct organizational leadership professor and facilitator who has earned her reputation as “The Employee Whisperer”. Her experiences as an entrepreneur, manager, attorney, writer, coach, listener, speaker, collaborator, and mother all lend themselves to a laser-focused clarity into what makes employees of organizations and companies – large and small – tick.

Heather discovered her passion for caring leadership early on. As the only child from an interracial and interfaith marriage, she was excluded by certain members of her family. While it left her with questions growing up, it also led her to develop resilience, self-love, and a deep desire to advocate for the voiceless and create opportunities for people worldwide to learn strategies to reframe their own adversities in order to lead more satisfying lives.

As a champion for positive change in workplaces, communities, and our world at large, Heather founded Employee Fanatix, a leading employee engagement, leadership development and diversity, equity and inclusion consulting and training firm, to inspire others by teaching the kind of caring leadership that drives real business results.

Heather hosts the weekly podcast, Leadership With Heart, which uncovers what drives leaders from all over the world and all walks of life to be more emotionally intelligent leaders. Heather is certified in Emotional and Social Intelligence, is a DISC certified trainer and coach, and has a law degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder School of Law. She is also a Certified Diversity Professional.
